On the morning of 16^th, July, Honggang Petrochemical project in Xuwei New District held the pilot production ceremony. It was the first production project which was the one hundred billion yuan petrochemical industry plate constructed by Shenghong Group in Xuwei New District. It symbolized the materiality breakthrough in Xuwei New District petrochemical indsutrial development. Zhong Kun, the Chairman of Municipal Committee of CPPCC, and Cao Yonglin, mumber of Minicipal Party Committee and the Executive Vice Mayor, took part in the pilot production ceremony.

Jiangsu Honggang Petrochemical project was constructed in July, 2011 in Xuwei New District, accumulatively invested 4.6 billion yuan. In June this year, Honggang Petrochemical project successfully completed the joint debugging and integration test for all equipments and instruments. All environmentally protective facilities were synchronous constructed, debugged, and put into use. It has already had the reqired procedures and essenctial conditions for the pilot production. After the project reaches the design capacity, it will achieve sales revenue about 11 billion yuan, and the estimated sales revenue this year is 4 billion yuan.
