On the morning of March 6th, Party and government delegation of Qinzhou city of Guangxi province, under the leadership of Wang Gebing who was secretary of the municipal Party committee of Qinzhou, investigated Shenghong Petrochemical Group, accompanied by Fang Wei, acting mayor of Lianyungang and Shi Haibo, secretary of Party working committee of the East-Middle-West Demonstration Area. Bai Wei, vice president of Shenghong Petrochemical Group and general manager of Sailboat Petrochemical Company received the guests.

“This modern petrochemical industrial park was a tidal-flat area containing fishponds and swamps eight years ago. Shenghong group seized the location advantage of this area and marched north to Lianyungang to make an overall arrangement of petrochemical industry. Shenghong group adopts internationally advanced process technologies and safety and environmental protection standards in the petrochemical industry, committed to creating a new high-end industrial chain from printing and dyeing and chemical fiber to petrochemical and refining &chemical. In 2017, the operating income of Shenghong group was over 100 billion yuan”, said Baiwei in his introduction to the delegation about the development process and industrial layout of the company in the central control room. The delegation praised the development achievements achieved by Shenghong and affirmed the company’s practice of extending the industrial chain and seeking an overall development.

Wang Gebing expressed that the chain development was a new requirement put forward by the new era and that Shenghong gathered strength to make innovations, put control on both safety and environment protection, highlighted the market-oriented idea, had a complete set of high quality standard development system and that it had formed a good pattern with international competitiveness. He also expressed that it was hoped that enterprises of two cities could strengthen exchanges and cooperations with each other, supply each other's needs if possible, and seek high-quality development together.
